18 months
Milo had his 18 month check up today. I couldn't tell you much about it, other than Milo seems to have the "white coat" syndrome. He's not fond of going to the doctor anymore. It was similar to the trip to Sears, but 100 times worse. Crying and clinging. He seems to be right on track with everything, including separation anxiety. His height and weight most likely aren't all that accurate, but here is the rough estimates:
Height 32 ish inches
Weight 23 ish pounds

4 photos
Our little man will be 18 months old next week. Time to head over to Sears for some more photos! So, I thought for this round of pics, and Easter I'd doll him up a bit. I dusted off the sewing machine and made this little outfit for Milo. He almost looks angelic in it. That makes me laugh! I figure that I won't be able to get away with dressing him like this for much longer, might as well seize the opportunity.
The last photo is absolutely precious. Milo with Simone, waiting for "the man" (the garbage man).

A day at the park
Today Milo and I spent the early afternoon at Hermann park. http://www.hermannpark.org/ Couldn't have asked for a better day. The weather was absolutely beautiful, with temps in the 70's climbing to 80 before we left.
Milo's newest girlfriend, Claire, has a sweet on the 7th floor at Memorial Hermann's childrens hospital. Claire came a bit early, at 33 weeks on Feb. 23rd. (The hospital is across the street from the park... that is how we ended up there today) We dropped Patti, Claire's Mommy, off at the hospital for a visit.
We will have to come back with Claire & her big brother John Michael when she's big enough to enjoy it!

My $7.99 Goodwill find
No, it's not the cute little boy in the picture... keep scrolling
The food, before the sticker removal and bleach bath
The kitchen before the sticker removal and bleach bath
Ready for play!
What a deal, what a deal! All for $7.99... from what I could find on-line, it looks like it retails for $68.88. There are newer and "cooler" kitchens out there, but for $7.99 this one rocks! It even makes noise, imagine that. Turn the knob for the faucet, and you hear running water. The knobs for the stove have a sizzling noise, boiling water noise, and some kind of banging pots and pans noise. Milo has yet to give his approval, he's still napping. Double click the pictures to see a larger version
