"Mom"

Finally able to capture it on video! Milo saying, "Mom". It's a long one.... but I swear he says "Mom" close to the end of the video.

9 month check up

Milo headed to the pediatrician today for his scheduled 9 month check up. It ended up being a "sick" visit as well. 9 months, and this is his first time being sick. The little man has a cough, hoarse voice, and just a little under the weather. Anyhow, here are his latest stats: Height: 28 inches (25-50th percentile) Weight: 16 lbs 4 oz (3-5th percentile) Head circumference: 17 1/4" (25th percentile) A little on the small side, but consistent in his progression... so no concern. His latest achievements: says "Mom", pulls up to standing, crawls fast and furious, has two bottom teeth, and enjoys gnawing on everything in site. Favorite food, bananacado... pureed bananas and avacados.

Milo & Monie

A couple of videos of Milo & Monie. They are quite the duo, always entertaining each other. Simone is very patient with Milo, thank God! Still, we keep them under a very watchful eye.

Father's Day

Two teeth and a fig leaf

Finally, Milo's bottom two teeth have erupted. As of last week, it was official, the little man sprouted teeth, and mastered the art of crawling. Nothing is safe now... things Milo has managed to gnaw on: toys, furniture, Simone, Mom, Dad, anything and everything. His all time favorite, a teething bagel from Barry's (in Toledo). I've called all over Houston, and no such luck... no teething bagels here. I knew I should've bought more when I had the chance! I wonder if there's such a thing as a teething tamale?

Well, one thing we have plenty of is fig leafs. So, in a cost saving and environmental effort, Milo has gone "green". Long enough for the photo at least.
