"Daddy"

Milo said "Daddy" tonight. He was in his highchair finishing dinner, Daddy was pacing in the kitchen while on the phone.... Milo kept eyeing up his Dad, and in between blowing spit bubbles he said, "Daddy".

10 Month Birthday!

Today marks Milo's 10 month birthday. Hip, hip, hooray! Gramma's birthday is not until August, but we had a duel celebration tonight while she's in town with us. Anything for a cake ;) The girls at the bakery giggled when I asked them to write "Milo 10 months, Grandma 804 months" on the cake. We had a nice dinner at home, followed by German chocolate cake from a yummy bakery nearby.

Milo's latest tricks:
* pulling up to standing when and wherever he can. Notice the blinds in the picture... all of our blinds are pulled up out of little man's reach, he loves to go to the windows and rattle the blinds.
* drinking from a straw (Gramma taught him this trick)
* riding his little plastic bike through the house (another trick Gramma taught him)
* sprouting his 2 front teeth on top

Story time

Tuesdays at the local library are story time for infants 0-18 months. Milo and I have been going since he was 3 months old. Today Gramma joined in the fun!

war paint

Check it out, Mommy Amy in war paint a.k.a make up. Take note, this is becoming an increasingly rare occasion. Tonight was a "girls night out", a few of us Mom's got together for dinner. Milo hung out with Gramma, Daddy, and Simone. So, just for fun I painted my face, and did my hair. Woo hoo!

The # 1 reason for not wearing make up post baby.... Milo gets too many kisses from Mommy to be wearing stinkin' lipstick!

Milo and John Michael ride the carousel

Milo and his buddy John Michael had a day out today. They heard that there was a carousel at the mall, and wanted to go for a ride! So, Patti picked us up, and off to the mall we went. Those wild boys :)
